| Essential
to who we are and how we relate to God and one another
our these seven beliefs:
Core Value #1:
We believe knowing and loving God is the most
fulfilling pursuit anyone can have in life. (Phil.
3:8) Therefore, we want to draw people closer
to God through Biblical
and corporate worship with the development of a
personal relationship with
Christ.
Core Value #2:
We believe that the life-changing principles of the
Bible and our journey with God have the greatest
impact when they make sense culturally, and at times
it is our responsibility as Christians to be willing
to set aside personal preferences in order to better
reach others. Therefore, we are committed to
life-changing, culturally relevant forms of worship,
preaching, and evangelism.
Core Value #3:
We believe we were created to experience a loving
community, and that all people seek deep, meaningful
relationships. Therefore, we are committed to
providing small groups where people
can know, love, serve, and grow with one
another in their journey with God.
Core Value #4: We
believe that every person matters to God and should
therefore matter to us. (Luke
15: 1-7) Therefore, we will create a climate
for evangelism by developing relationships with
people, ministering to their needs, and seeking ways
to communicate the good news of God’s salvation.
Core Value #5:
We believe that every person in the body of Christ
is gifted and called to ministry, and that it
takes all the people of God to effectively do all the
work of God. Therefore, we are committed to
helping believers discover their spiritual gifts,
abilities, and passions, equip and assimilate them
into ministry, and continue to develop and encourage
training and Godly leadership.
Core Value #6:
We believe
that to be a part of the
Kingdom
of
God
means
to be involved in the Great Commission. (Matt.
28:18-20) Therefore, we are committed to the
task of world evangelism by planting churches here and
worldwide.
Core
Value #7: We
believe that prayer is the driving force of ministry,
and should take the front stage in all we do. Therefore,
we are committed to training our people in prayer and
to seek God’s presence, guidance, and blessing in
every area of life
and ministry. |
